My name is Marc but sometimes spelt Mark as in the King James I Bible. I was born near Chester, England, just over the Welsh border in a village called Mancot. My mother Jean told me I was born with the umbilical cord around my neck. The first of my seven lives! As my mother Pamela Jean Heyman was from Throwley, Kent , England, and my father John Richard Jones from Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula, Wales. there was some dispute whether I was English or Welsh. Subsequently, I found through DNA, I am 30% English, 20% North Western European and 50% Welsh. My early years were spent in West Africa, with my parents, as recounted by my mother in the book, "Water Under the Bridge Part Two: The Later Years", and my early schooling days suffered as a consequence. I eventually caught up with a BSC Honours degree in Computing, Mathematics and Statistics. Hence, I am now able, with the advent of the Internet, to offer some of my mother’s paperback books, "Water Under the Bridge Part One: The Early Years", in my shop, that were ordered on first publication, some time ago, at a sale price.
